Universal Standard Kicks Off It’s 12-City Roadshow in Seattle
Universal Standard is on a mission to change the apparel industry, offering a size-inclusive line of fashionable, quality pieces to women who, until now, felt like they’d been ignored by mainstream fashion. To celebrate this, the direct-to-consumer company embarked on a 12-city tour to find the new face of the company and also hosted pop-up shops in each city, giving consumers their first opportunity to experience the brand in person.
We partnered with Universal Standard for promotion of their events and model search in Seattle and Portland. With extensive media and influencer relationships in both markets paired with the know-how in getting the who’s who to show up, we secured more than 61 million local impressions in the weeks leading up to the events and 80+ media and influencer mentions. We additionally hosted a media hour in each city to give editors, reporters and bloggers the opportunity to interview the founders for more robust features. Leveraging the unique story behind Universal Standard, we also coordinated a Q&A event with the female founders. Hosted at popular women’s co-working space The Riveter in Seattle, it gave influencers and locals another chance to engage with the brand 1:1 in a memorable way.
