5 Food Influencers We’re Loving Right Now
Fall is one of my favorite seasons for cooking. With so many delicious foods in season (especially pumpkin), I always feel the most motivated to prepare a warm, home cooked meal this time of year. Healthy eating is extremely important to me, and I take to Instagram for cooking inspiration from my favorite wellness bloggers. This month, my feed has been a constant stream of pumpkin recipes, salad bowls with butternut squash, cinnamon rich nut butters and healthy baked sweet treats. Here is a peek at my favorite sources for kitchen inspiration:
@Leefromamerica - Lee Tighman
Lee is a food blogger living in LA focused on all things wellness. Her page aesthetic first drew me to her account. Bright airy spaces, lots of plants, and vibrant smoothie bowls make up most of her posts. She cooks everything in season and shares how her eating changes depending on the time of the year. Her posts also include her favorite beauty brand, Frank + Whit, an all-natural and cruelty free product line.
@Rachaelsgoodeats - Rachael DeVeux
I first discovered Rachael’s account when a friend tagged me in her cashew skillet cookie recipe. The recipe was gluten-free, refined sugar-free, dairy-free and tasted amazing. Rachael’s feed is full of her everyday eats, from breakfasts to desserts. The best part? Her recipes are all beginner-friendly. While I love to cook, as a full-time student I don’t have time to make multiple trips to the store. Rachael uses things I already have in my pantry and lists options for substitutions. Also, so cool she lives in Seattle!
@Shutthekaleup - Jeannette Ogden
Jeannette has a great page filled with recipes for herself, her husband and her son. The recipes are healthy, easy and perfect for even the pickiest eaters. You can also follow along on her Instagram stories. Most days, she walks her viewers through how she cooks her breakfast while listening to great music. I’ve saved about 15 of her recipes to try in the near future.
@Balancewithb - Blair Flynn
Blair is a food blogger that has battled digestive issues for much of her life and knows the importance of gut health for overall well-being. Her recipes are healthy but still allow room for comfort food. She shares my love for yoga and her butternut squash “mac and cheese” tastes even better than the real thing.
@Twist_of_lemons - Katie Lemons
Katie was one of the first food bloggers I followed on Instagram. My favorite part about her blog is that she is also a full-time student, meaning she relates to my busy lifestyle. Her recipes are simple, nutritionally balanced and tasty, and she has given my boring packed lunches life with her endless meal-prep ideas. She also writes about the best places to eat and workout during her travels and has guides on her website.
