Happy Day, Hello Spring!
The flowers are blooming, the birds are chirping, and the weather is taking a change for the better. We are so excited that spring is here! Okay maybe the weather hasn’t quite changed YET, but when the sun does peek its head through the clouds there is no city more beautiful than Seattle (we swear we’re not biased). So what is there to do in the Emerald City when the weather gets warm? Check out our favorite sunny-weather locations and activities below - there are clearly a few favorites among the team!
When the weather gets nice in Seattle there is really no place more beautiful than Alki Beach. I also enjoy strolling through Pike’s Place Market and picking up fresh flowers! – Brenna
If I’m showing out-of-town visitors around the city or am seeking a day of sun, Alki is always at the top of my list. While I'm happy at nearly any little restaurant or dive bar along the water or just laying out in the sand, the view, food and vibe at Marination Ma Kai really can’t be beat. – Shauna
My family loves to visit the Japanese Gardens in spring. The cherry blossoms bring a vibrancy to the serene landscape and the budding of plants is a rich symbol of rebirth after a typically long winter. Plus my 6-year-old and 2-year-old LOVE feeding the Koi fish. – Jennifer
Westcrest Park off Leash Area: There’s nothing quite like spending a sunny day with your pup at the dog park. This hidden gem in south Seattle features 4 acres of trails, lots of open space, and more cute dogs than you can shake a stick at. Marination Ma Kai: Where’s the best view of the Seattle skyline? While Kerry Park and Gasworks offer stunning vistas there are two key things they lack: kim chi fried rice and a cold beer. The patio at Marination Ma Kai is always hopping on a nice day, so cozy up to your neighbors and offer up a toast to the sun. – Aaron
In Seattle – we like to take long urban walks and breathe in the fresh air and flowers. Our favorites are from our home in Leschi to Volunteer Park in Capital Hill or the Arboretum. We also love walking the upper Queen Anne loop.

We love exploring the natural wonders accessible from our beautiful city. I love taking my kids to the Snoqualmie Falls, teaching them about the river and the mountains – these are the experiences that are uniquely Seattle. We also love the beach and exploring the sea life of the Sound. – Corinne
I love going to Myrtle Edwards along the water! I also love hiking Discovery Park – Avery
