Influencers Inspiring Us in 2018
With January well underway, we all have resolutions and goals we’re hoping to turn into habits in 2018 (maybe a little less chocolate and a few more greens). While motivated by the promise of a new year, by the end of January it can be difficult to not fall back into our old ways. We’re determined to stay strong. One way to do that is by surrounding ourselves with other inspirational women that have similar habits and remind us why we decided to make these changes in the first place. Here are a few influencers that are inspiring us this year.
1. Remi Ishizuka: @rrayyme
Remi, a Los Angeles based blogger, was nominated as the best fitness blog of 2016 by bloglovin. Why we love her? She reminds us that you always have time to fit in a workout- whether late at night or in a hotel room. Remi proves that you don’t have to spend two hours in the gym to stay fit- fitting in any sort of activity is beneficial for your body. Her killer smoothie recipes are great too.
2. Joanne Encarnacion: @gofitjo
Joanne is a San Francisco mom that preaches self-empowerment and a real-body approach to fitness. We love that Joanne believes health is not just about fitness and eating healthy- it is just as important to find balance between working out, eating well and enjoying your family. She also promotes female empowerment and serves up some serious life inspiration on her page. Jennifer also loves that they are both fans of Brene Brown.
3. Jaclyn Johnson: @jaclynrjohnson
Jaclyn Johnson, the CEO of Create + Cultivate, is a source of inspiration for living your dreams and having fun while doing it. Her business has become a meeting place for women across the country to think big and achieve their goals. We’ll definitely be channeling her #ladyboss vibes and watching for what she has in store for 2018.
4. Rachel Mansfield: @Rachlmansfield
Rachel is a wellness guru and professional recipe developer. She creates recipes that are typically slightly healthier versions of all the foods you already love. She also shares her favorite workouts and preaches the importance of listening to your body. We can’t wait to try her latest recipe- almond butter zoodles- a healthier version of pad thai.
5. Georgie: @init4thelongrunblog
We love Georgie because her feed is the perfect balance of identifying and going after her goals, while also reminding her readers to be mindful, intuitive and kind to themselves. Her goal is to help other young women put the happiness back in their healthy lifestyles, preaching relatable tools and a non- calorie counting lifestyle.
