What We’re Thankful For
Happy Thanksgiving, friends! After a turbulent year in our country, we are spending the Thanksgiving holiday honing in on what we’re thankful for in our lives (and eating lots of pumpkin pie of course). Here is what our team is giving thanks for in 2017:
This year, I am most thankful for the people who are creating important cultural movements. For the women brave enough to call out harassment. For those fighting for equal pay. For journalists and media helping to create a conversation that urges positive change. – JEN
I am thankful for new adventures. Moving to a new city with endless opportunities to explore, experience and meet new people has made 2017 an exciting year. Plus, I can’t wait to have my first warm winter (ever!) and entertain friends and family who want to escape from the cold weather up north. I’m taking reservations now! – SHAUNA
I’m thankful for friends, family and Thanksgiving traditions- new and old. Last year, my sister and I started a tradition of spending Thanksgiving just the two of us. Since we live across the country from one another, the quality time we get to spend together over the Thanksgiving holiday is a treat! – SARAH M
For me, this year has been one of the most trying times in my life. I’m thankful for having the support of my friends and family because there is no way I could have done it without them. With them by my side, I can get through anything. I’m so proud to call them my family and friends! – MEAGAN
This time of the year reminds me to be grateful for the love, joy and support that I receive from my family and friends, for my health, and for the opportunity to live in Seattle – the greatest city. I am also thankful for all of the pumpkin pie I will be eating this weekend – ZAINA
