The end of summer signifies feelings of sadness, and for the mom’s in our office, a little gladness as the craziness of coordinating summer camps and summer care comes to an end.  One light at the end of the tunnel though is the fun we get to have back to school shopping, especially while our kids still think it’s fun. Here’s what’s at the top of our list for 2015! LEGO™ bricks are the most played with toys in our house.  So you can imagine our delight when we learned about LEGO Bags Backpacks this year! Ergonomically designed, reflective striping and durable materials made them a win for the moms in the office, but the real treat was sharing them with our kids.  They were gaga for these backpacks! And, matching LEGO Bags Lunch bags! A friend of ours told us about these cute reusable bags for packing snacks and sandwiches.   While we also have the bpa-free plastic containers, these are on our list for add-ons and snacks. Our little guys live in their sneakers.  So we always invest in a great pair with the help of Fleet Feet on Capitol Hill.  These Brooks PureFlow shoes make them “run faster than a train”. We’re sold. Plus they are on sale online if you happen to know what size shoe your child is. If we were in high school again, we’d totally go for beautiful notebook designs like this one from Paper Delights. We also use our shopping time to find school supplies that we can donate to the Sleep Country Foster Kids School Supply drive. And always stop for a MIGHTY-O organic donut!
